Abraham Lincoln Monument Sculpted by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, this monument is dedicated to one of the US’s past presidents. It was completed in 1887 and has become a true landmark in Lincoln Park. The monument depicts Abraham Lincoln getting up from a chair, ready to start an inspiring speech.
Kovler Lion House This is one example of the stunning architecture that can be seen all over this area. The house was completed in 1912 and is located in the Lincoln Park Zoo. The building is complete with terra cotta ornaments, original lion mosaics, and beautiful brickwork.
Chicago Gateway Hotel A beautiful building that towers over the streets of the north side of Chicago is only one of many that represents the rich history. It is a long Gregorian-revival style house that was constructed in the 1960’s and has been subject for a variety of different uses.
